The Board has introduced revised syllabus and the new textbooks developed by NCERT for class X from the year 2008. The said syllabus and textbooks are based on National Curriculum Framework 2005. Besides, the Board has also changed the pattern of question papers from March 2008 examination.
In order to sensitize the practicising teachers teaching the subject of Mathematics for classes IX & X to the thrust areas of the new syllabus and key aspects of assessment in theory and practical, the Board is organizing a two-day Orientation Programme for secondary stage teachers teaching classes IX & X in the subject of Mathematics. The venues and dates of the programme are as follows :

The timings of the programme will be from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm. TA/DA of the participants will be borne by the participating schools. Outstation participants will have to make their own stay arrangements at the venue city. Letters, inviting participation of the teachers in this programme are being dispatched by the concerned Regional Officers.
